B M Carter a prominent retired farmer and lifelong Carter Hall resident died at 2 40 pm yesterday following a paralysis stroke. He was born Christmas Day 1848 in Carter Hall and served as a long time road supervisor in Frederick County. He and his wife Mary Caldwell had no children but raised many wards, and he was a deacon and trustee at First Baptist Church for over forty years. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Stephens City, with funeral at Carter Hall conducted by Rev E T Clark.
Mrs. Patrick Murphy of Wadesville Clarke county reports the deaths of two cousins, Joseph M. Crim 75 of York Pennsylvania and E K Crim 64 of Lawrence Kansas, both natives of Brucetown. Joseph M Crim died of heart trouble after 23 years with the Frick Company shops at Waynesboro and moving to York 25 years ago. He belonged to Grace Methodist Episcopal Church York the Red Men and Modern Woodmen of America. He leaves a widow two sons and two daughters. E K Crim formerly with Jay Miller in Waynesboro sewing machine business later moved to Kansas where he resided with his widow and three children. Brothers surviving are R C Crim Marietta Ohio H B Crim Waynesboro Pa and C F Crim York Pa.

The funeral for the late Charles L Latham will be held at his National avenue home at 10 30 tomorrow morning with services by Rev E Ambert of Braddock Street Methodist Church South. Interment is in Mount Hebron Cemetery family lot. Pallbearers include William Miller Wilton Strickler Foster Gray Harry Lantz John I Sloat and Carroll Willis.
