Mary Trice Dies in Winchester At 64
Mary Eliza Trice a well known colored woman of Winchester died at her North Market street home on August 27 from acute indigestion. She was 64 and buried at 2 30 p.m. from Shiloh Baptist Church with Revs. Martin and Williams officiating. Burial was in Orrick cemetery. She was a cousin of Rev. Walker Carter and had many white and Black friends. Notice lamp from bicycle in front of Empire not returned. Arrest will follow.
