Old Stone Church: Winchester’s Historic Presbyterian Landmark

The Old Stone Church, built by 1788 and used since 1800, is Winchester’s oldest Presbyterian house of worship. It hosted major church events, housed notable members including Gen. Morgan, and served as a school and later a Baptist/color community site before restoration completed in 1950. It now operates as a tourist attraction under First Presbyterian oversight with occasional weddings.
