Sam Scott Hansbrough fourteen year old son of Mr and Mrs Garland M Hansbrough fell from the top of the new Baptist Church building at Washington and Piccadilly streets landing on concrete steps. He was unconscious then regained consciousness and is resting comfortably at Memorial Hospital with only minor head and body bruises. Companions helped and first aid was given by Miflin B Clowe Jr and Miss Jean Sprint. He attends Handley High School and worked as a meter reader for Northern Virginia Power Co this summer.
