Shoe Center Opening Attracts Crowds
Large crowds attended the opening of the Winchester Shoe Center yesterday with several hundred on the store and sidewalk at 9 15 p m. Mrs B F Strother White Hall won a handbag and Mrs Loring Anderson and Miss Cary Gravitt and family were fitted in new shoes along with Miss Shirley Curl of Winchester.

$30 Billion Investment In Plant Still Needed
