Dr. Robert Walker Baker aged 92 died yesterday in Villa Nova Pennsylvania. Born July 5 1863 in the city he was son of Henry and Aletta Hunt Baker. He married Abby Pierce Scott of Washington DC who predeceased him. A University of Virginia Medical School graduate 1887 he interned at Charity Hospital NYC and studied in Berlin and Vienna. He practiced in Washington DC from 1890 until retirement five years ago. Survivors include three sons Commodore Robert Nicholson Scott Baker USN ret., Henry Scott Baker, James S Baker, a sister Mrs Robert T Barton and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday at National Presbyterian Church Washington DC. Private interment in Mt Hebron Cemetery here. Memorials to disease research.
