Logan Massey Dies in Air Crash Near Daykin Nebraska
Logan Dexter Massey, 20, son of Mrs. Margaret P. Massey and the late Carl F. Massey, was killed when his P 47 Thunderbolt crashed in a corn field three miles east of Daykin Nebraska. He had been in pre flight training and was advancing in Army Air Corps training at the time of his death. Surviving with his mother are two brothers and a sister, all listed with respective stations, and he was a nephew of William Massey of this city. He was born in Winchester January 8 1924 and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.

Henry fiancee of the Thomp sons mother was stabbed to death and body rolled into a creek in January 1943 in Duval County.
