Death comes to Walter Krebs at sister's home
Walter B. Krebs 59 a Winchester native and longtime Mercersburg resident died last night at the Chadds Ford home of his sister Mrs Nancy Krebs Chandler after an edema of the lungs illness. He had contracted the ailment in Mercersburg and was moved three weeks ago to his sister's country home where physicians tried to halt the progress of the disease. He was formerly a Star employee in his youth and later worked in his brother’s Mercersburg drug store.

Two automobiles were damaged when Archie Jackson attempted a left turn near Clarbrook. Officer Bayliss said Jackson hit William J. Cornell’s car from Keyser West Virginia, with damages about 100 dollars to Cornell’s car and 25 dollars to Jackson’s. Both drivers received summons for a hearing before Trial Justice A. J. Tavenner on Saturday morning. Jackson is listed as from Avon Virginia.
