Fatally Injured In Car Plunge From Roadway
Harold Brooks of this city, about 30, was fatally injured when a car carrying him and a youth left the bridge over Bufflick Run and plunged down a 60 foot embankment early Saturday. Brooks was paralyzed from the waist and severely hurt. the other occupant suffered head lacerations and left the hospital unnamed. Brooks, son of John Brooks, had permission to use the car to attend a gathering of colored folks in Millwood.
