A Baltimore blaze in an old brick row house killed four members of a family of six before dawn. Bert Parnaby, 48, his wife Gertrude, 45, and their daughters Ethel, 16, and Margaret, 8, died. only two, Gertrude 10 and Charles 19, were saved. Mrs. Parnaby died days after escaping to rescue her children. She forced through flames to reach them as her husband perished upstairs.
