Frederick County’s three FFA chapters sent eight members to the State FFA Leadership Training Camp at Smithfield the week of Aug 4 to 8. Attendees included Harmon Brumbach Rosa Keller Robert Sutphin Tim Gano Wesley Clark Greg Spitler Tracey Johnson and David Nichols. The camp, run by Virginia State Officers, focused on leadership skills for officers with lessons in public speaking parliamentary procedure and public relations plus local activities. Recreation included sports and a Jamestown tour on Wednesday evening.

New Students To Register In Frederick County Schools
A school spokesman announced registration for new kindergarten and elementary students who moved into Frederick County since spring and any unregistered pupils will take place Monday August 18 and Tuesday August 19. Registration runs 9 to 12 and 1 to 3 at the zone school, with textbooks and fees due on the first day. no registrations on September 2 for the 1975 76 term.
