Sugar supplies to spill into 1922 stock from Cuba
More than 2,000,000 tons of sugar, about half the U.S. supply, will roll into next year’s stock from Cuba. The Federal Sugar Company notes a strong Cuban crop, a large beet crop, and improved Louisiana cane as factors.
