Offcers Seize Still and Liquor in Frederick County Raid
Sheriff Bywaters and Deputy DeHaven raided west of Star Tannery opposite Cold Spring and seized a 100 gallon still 20 gallons of liquor and 200 gallons of mash. No arrests were made. Federal and state undercover men plan to operate in the area with several to attend a picnic at Star Tannery Saturday. Deputy DeHaven received a black eye returning from the raid.
