Heritage Announces Increase in Savings
Heritage Savings & Loan Association reported a 27.2 percent rise in savings deposits for the first half of 1978, with June 30 balances at 170.97 million and six‑month net earnings of 775,854 or 1.23 a share. Assets stood at 206.89 million, up 29.9 percent from a year earlier. The report notes mortgage loans rose 16.3 percent to 188.06 million and explains loans to real estate buyers and builders in Richmond and Winchester.
