Fascist Party Meeting Ends In Free for All

Italy's Fascist party's three day congress ended with a brawl as young members jeered a speaker sending two delegates to the hospital and leaving many with black eyes. Delegates split, held a separate meeting to oppose Arturo Michelini who favors working within the current parliamentary framework. Almirante's followers disagree, claiming this won't work.

Postcard From Ed and Mary Burch Lands in Winchester

A postcard postmarked in e Switzerland on July 16 arrives in Winchester from Ed and Mary Burch. Local ham radio operator reports Neal Woods of Winchester met another Neal Woods from Swanton Md at a ham fest. A terrapin found at 338 Amherst St bears Pattie Pyne 1963. Glen McLaughlin and Percy Jones recall a rattlesnake killed on Skyline Drive, Waynesboro.

Soviet Delegates Lead Public Snub of Red Chinese at Hiroshima

At the world conference against nuclear bombs in Hiroshima Peace Park, 14 Soviet delegates led a mass snub of Chao Pu-chu as he denounced Moscow signed tripartite test ban. Indians and East European delegates joined the gesture while the audience mostly supported China. Khrushchev hailed the ban as a brilliant victory for peaceful coexistence.

DETROIT AP The divided family of Henry Ford II and his wife Anne agreed to a separation in apparent secrecy. Ford, 45, and Mrs Ford, 44, were not reachable for comment with Ford abroad and Mrs Ford at a Long Island home. They have three children and, while rumors had circulated, Ford denied them earlier.

Walter Duncan named Front Royal Town Manager

Walter M. Duncan, 42, a Warren County native, was appointed Front Royal Town Manager, effective August 13, after a special Town Council session. Duncan, a 1941 Randolph-Morn, educated at VPI, and a U S Air Force veteran, has worked in construction, engineering, and land surveying and serves as county surveyor for Page and Warren Counties.

Travel Service Office Burglary Reported in Virginia

Northern Virginia Travel Service at 108 East Piccadilly Street reported a burglary late Sunday or early Monday with about 76 dollars stolen plus 9 dollars in stamps. Two checks totaled 272 dollars and a desk file cabinet were ransacked. The service is run by Cornelia Presnikoff. Storm Rips Western Pennsylvania Towns Killing Two

Hundreds of workers cleared debris after a violent storm in Glassport and nearby communities. Two people, William Petrosky and Robert Marton, were killed as a three story hotel collapsed. about 70 injured and damage in the millions. Winds reached 90 miles per hour for about 45 minutes.
