Shepherd Rams Defense Rebuilds Behind Linebackers
Shepherd College faces a 1973 defense rebuild as seven starters depart. All conference linebacker Jim Armel anchors a group with Ronnie Combs and Ivan Withers, while Tim Stoner leads a reshuffled secondary. Front line hope centers on Ike Karavellas and a mix of sophomores and transfers to complement the linebackers.
