A second false alarm occurred around 12 30 this morning from the South End Hose Company house. Fire bells rang town wide though only part of the apparatus responded. Police hold information likely leading to arrests after a Ford roadster linked to the alarm fled from Main to Braddock and on the Valley pike with two intoxicated occupants.

The will of Dr. Wilton R. Stuart of White Post was probated in Clarke County Circuit Court. It left all property to Mrs. Vivian Meade Stuart, wife of Emmett Stuart, a nephew. The 1907 will named her as beneficiary, with Miss Meade to inherit on the wife’s death. Ernest Meade and Reynolds Green witnessed, James P. Reardon of Winchester named executor.
A reading at Handley Library at eight o’clock Saturday night explains the American Legion. The event describes the group’s aims and distinguishes it from Civil War veterans associations. it is non political and non military.
Associated Press reports from Vienna July 30 that Bela Kun, dictator of Hungary, may be forcibly expelled if Allied powers do not set a clear policy. Allies have pressed Kun to transfer control to the socialists, but he refuses to negotiate. General Boehm and M. Agostos have discussed plans with local socialists without success.
