The 50th Apple Blossom Festival unfolds with sunny skies and a 1:20 p.m. Grand Feature Parade. Queen Laury Boone and Grand Marshal Tom Bosley lead, with past queens in antique cars and VIPs like U. S. Senator Byrd Jr. and Rep. Robinson attending. Events include the Field Band Finals, dances, concerts, and a Sunday in the Park lineup, plus a royal knighting and a Mayors' Luncheon.
