Paper Makers To Wait On Decision By War Board
Fear of a strike by 40 000 paper mill workers was allayed as the present wage scale would stay in place until a new one is fixed by the National War Labor Board. The agreement came at a conference of print paper manufacturers and union mill workers with the Federal Trade Commission. The action postpones the May 1 strike.
