Defense Witness Denied in Reaguer Slayings Trial
In Washington on April 28 the defense rested in the Slayings case of William H. Reaguer a Culpeper undertaker charged with killing 21 year old Willie Mae Wood. Miss Anne T O Bannion cousin of the victim denied testimony that Reaguer was disarrayed when arriving and that Mrs Wood urged haste. Dr Antoine Schneider Georgetown neurology professor testified Reaguer was insane October 12 stating brain arteriosclerosis and psychosis may render mind sound at times.
