President outlines plan to create three new federal agencies

President Roosevelt submitted a reform plan to Congress proposing three new federal agencies by merging welfare works and lending functions. Wage-Hour Rule Changes Move Through House Labor Panel

The House Labor Committee approved amendments to the wage-hour law to ease agricultural labor rules. The 16 to 2 vote backed an omnibus bill exempting white-collar workers earning up to 200 dollars monthly from wage and hour provisions.
