British troops push on along a wide front after repelling counterattacks and seize Beaucamp and Villers-i Plouich as part of a new offensive east of Arras. Over 1,500 prisoners reportedly captured with additional forces advancing toward Lezatelet. Moonlit battlefield lit by star shells as operations continue.
British troops reached the St Quentin canal and established positions on its banks near Lezatelet between Cambrai and St Quentin. Along the Arras Cambrai road north of the Scarpe the advance continued east of Monchy. Over 1,500 prisoners were captured in the Lens sector with more surrendering and a battery of field guns taken.
