Antique Car club president Patton will drive the lead car in the Advance division at the Grand Feature parade next Friday at 1 30 p.m. and attend Saturday's Apple Blossom antique car meet sponsored by Shenandoah Republics. Patton owns four antiques including a 1909 White Steamer and a 1930 Packard. He also chairs the 1961 Glidden Tour and received the Duryea award for service to the A A C A. John H. James Melton renowned concert radio and television singer died Friday night at Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He was 57 and had risen from the Roxy Gang to the Metropolitan Opera, with radio shows including The Ford Sunday Hour and The Harvest of Stars. He was born in Moultrie Georgia and educated at the University of Florida and Vanderbilt University. He later appeared in Hollywood films and MGM's Ziegfeld Follies.
