Union Silent On Suits Seeking Nearly $7 Million
Fifty five former O'Sullivan plant workers from Winchester sue the United Rubber, Cork, Linoleum and Plastic Workers of America and Local 511 for 6.875 million dollars alleging false representation and breach of contract after a 1956 strike. The suit seeks 4.125 million for back pay maintenance and lost credit plus 2.75 million in additional damages. the case is filed in Frederick County Circuit Court.
