Bettie J. Newlin mother of F. Brill of Brill and Ritter mercantile firm died last night at 8 o clock at her home one mile south of Winston along the Valley pike after months of illness due to complications. Funeral from the house at 11 tomorrow with Rev. E H Brubaker and Rev. George W. Stover officiating. Interment in Mount Hebron Cemetery. Survived by second husband Robert Newlin and children Robert F. Brill William Newlin Corny Newlin Minnie Lowery. sisters Mrs Alice Mason Mrs Susan Parks. A Methodist Church member she resided in the area about 35 years.
