Berryville resident Mrs Nellie Dillow received word that her husband Pvt John Leon Dillow was seriously wounded in action in Germany on March 24. He serves with the 7th Army armored division. aged 24, he trained at Camp Lee Camp Wheeler and Fort Meade and went overseas in December 1944. He had worked at Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown before joining the service. His wife and son reside in Berryville.
