She leaves four brothers Sylvester Charles Cecil Theodore and two sisters Mrs Peter Bunner and Kathleen Fletcher. The father works as a night watchman at the Handley School plant. Funeral was at 2 pm Sunday with Rev W L Dudley at the Church of Christ and burial at Ebenezer Church.
In Youngstown Ohio on April 9 George Best six years old died after lighting a match that set hay ablaze in his father s barn. He crawled into a feed box and perished as flames consumed the structure. A nine year old brother was seriously burned while trying to rescue him.
James Ford, 50, was shot and killed in Chicago after a quarrel with ward committeeman Thomas Kral. Police say Kral, who had been drinking, complained Ford hogged the bed and refused to sleep, leading to the fatal confrontation.
