Tug Charlie Boy Burns and Sinks in James River
In Norfolk Virginia a 5 foot tug named Charlie Boy burned and sank about a half mile from Fort Eustis after an explosion. Detroit April 8 Henry Ford famed pioneer of the auto industry died at 11 40 p m at his Dearborn home. He would have been 84 next July 30. Death due to cerebral hemorrhage followed a day spent inspecting flood water damage at the Ford plant. Funeral plans to be announced. Ford operations worldwide will be suspended Thursday.
