Whitlock Dies in Crossing Crash Near White Post
Charles Whitlock 42 of Winchester was killed when his automobile stalled on a crossing near White Post between White Post and Boyce and was struck by a Norfolk and Western freight. J Howard Taylor 42 of Winchester was critically injured with internal injuries and multiple fractures. The car was demolished and the engine crew reported no lights. Coroner C H Iden said no verdict has been returned yet.
