River Victim Found After Six Day Search
A six day search ended as volunteers recovered Lewis Gene Yancey from the Shenandoah River two and a half miles downstream from the Winchester Filtration Plant. The younger Yancey and Charles Everett Yancey drowned when their boat capsized near the dam. Charles Lee Arthur escaped.
