Ollie Thomas Dunston 28 is charged with murder in the 1 a.m. shooting of his wife Mary Virginia Jackson Dunston 30 at 337 Pine St. Front Royal police said an autopsy is pending. Dunston is jailed in $5,000 bond. a preliminary hearing date was not set. The case follows a family dispute. details and weapon not released.

In Harrisburg Pennsylvania a speeding motorist fired on motorists on the turnpike killing at least one person and wounding several others. State police said the shooting occurred at the Lebanon Lancaster interchange and at the Harrisburg East interchange. Details were sketchy and investigators sought direction of the shooter.

A Hamilton man James E Marcus was admitted to Winchester Memorial Hospital in satisfactory condition after a crash at Route 50 and Route 522 yesterday around 4 p.m. Glen Williams of Columbia South Carolina and Harry Junior Carter of Brucetown were thrown from a vehicle driven by Carter. Jerome Lawrence Jones of Willoughby Ohio was not injured. Damage to Jones vehicle estimated at 2500 dollars. Carter auto total loss. Marcus Williams and Carter were treated and released by Winchester Volunteer Rescue Squad.
