Gasoline Bomb Destroys Bar Killing Six in Los Angeles
In south central Los Angeles a makeshift gasoline bomb turned Club Mecca into a fatal inferno killing six at the scene and injuring at least five. Police say three men ejected earlier threw the liquid and a match, then fled as flames erupted. Victims include a woman identified as Jackie McGinnis.

Three Children Escaped from Vault After 90 Minute Ordeal
In Pacific Heights San Francisco three youths Cheri Stevenson 11 David Rude 15 and William Moore 16 were trapped for about 90 minutes in a desert mansion walk in safe.
