Druggist Shot By Fair Nurse In Holyoke
Miss Minnie I Butterworth a 29 year old nurse shot and killed George A Elliott a Holyoke druggist on the street. Elliott died within an hour after admission to a local hospital. Butterworth fired five shots and was charged with attempt to kill before Elliott’s death. Elliott had been a leading Holyoke citizen and Plott survived as a widow with five children.
