31 Persons Arrested On Gambling Counts
Richmond vice squad raids a downtown room above a business, arresting 31 people on gambling charges. 28 face gambling charges and others on related offenses. Khrushchev Links Berlin Rights to Soviet Treaty

Governor Almond Jr vetoed four appropriations totaling 278 000 and a five million dollar conditional grant for the State Literary Fund. The move reduces the 1960 62 general fund to 497 875 250 while totals reach 1 264 310 514 with non tax funds.
