Pedernales Electric Cooperative will open a Manchaca business office on July 1 in Manchaca Plaza at 11940 Manchaca Road to provide easier bill payment and service connections. Initial hours are 8 am to 7 pm on Monday and Thursday and 8 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Friday, with Kyle office renovations prompting temporary adjustments. Meter readers will be in blue PEC vehicles with ID, and all members may have meters read as PEC expands across its 4,000 square mile service area of 109,000+ meters.
