CAD board keeps $100K from 95 budget in software fund
At a May 7 Buda City Council briefing Luanne Caraway outlined CAD plans to retain $109,000 from the 1995 budget for a software purchase fund and to cover expected expenditures. Funds include $78,340 for software and $30,660 for anticipated costs, with $50,000 proposed for a Chief Appraiser salary. The measure, similar to last year, was tabled after no other entities responded and Buda took no action. Interim Chief Appraiser Pete Islas reported on audits and financials, with the board indicating the funds may be retained unless actions change.
