Morales Sues 25 ROT Members for Illegal Restraint of Trade

Texas Attorney General Dan Morales filed suit in Travis County accusing 25 individuals and the self styled Republic of Texas of illegal restraint of trade, intimidation, and forgery. A temporary receiver was appointed to dissolve false liens against state and private property, preventing clouding of title and avoiding added legal costs. The action targets bogus liens aimed at officials and citizens since 1994, with ROT members named and a federal order already restricting filing such liens.
