TAAS scores show mixed results for Wimberley students
Louie Bond reports TAAS results across grades three through ten. Reading remained strong in most grades, while math lagged, with seventh and tenth graders posting the lowest passing rates at 72 and 76 percent respectively. The district notes rising test difficulty and more new students, and emphasizes teaching higher order thinking skills. Third grade reading and math fell sharply compared to 1992 and 1993 results.
