Greenhouse Theatre closes after 14 years and 50 productions
The Greenhouse Theatre in Wimberley is closed as the Wimberley Players move on. The building once housed plants and a dark room and woodworking shop, but years of decay left it unsafe. Founders scouted for a home, spotting the greenhouse and envisioning Our Town, triggering a community theatre era ending after 14 years.
