Pec calls for voluntary load management by members
Pedernales Electric Cooperative asks members to reduce winter peak demand by voluntary actions between 5 am and 10 am. Set thermostats to 68 or lower, run appliances later, and shower in the evening if possible. Reducing peak cuts costs from LCRA and could avoid building a new generating plant, saving billions for Texas users. For details contact Gordon Anderson at 512/868-7155.
