The Woodcreek Planning and Zoning Commission held a second hearing on creating a new C-2 hotel conference zoning for the old stables area of the resort. Thirty three residents attended at City Hall as the commission weighs a recommendation to the city council with a 4 2 supermajority to overturn.
The Kimberley Independent School District completed a Lighting Efficiency Program with Pedernales Electric Cooperative to cut costs by about 15 400 dollars annually. Wimberley ISD earned a 13 712.38 dollar rebate and installed 2126 lamps and 1128 ballasts, projecting savings of 263 320 kilowatt hours per year and roughly six year payback.
