Earth Day success at Scudder Primary School event
About 75 parents and children gathered at Scudder Primary School for Earth Day activities. The event, backed by Scudder PTO and Wimberley Beautification Committee, featured talks on water conservation and recycling, door prizes, art show awards, and a child oriented project that will travel to Brazil for the Earth Summit. Plans to obtain funds for a bailer to expand recycling were discussed, with volunteers needed to operate and house the equipment.
