Wimberley resident earns first Archeology Award
Hays County Historical Commission names Wimberley resident Jeff Merkord as the first Archeology Award recipient for Historic Preservation. Merkord documented local sites enabling useful historical and scientific study. Presentation set for April 15 at the Wimberley Senior Citizen Center amid Archeology Awareness Week events across the county, April 11–17, 1992.
