Scottish wedding a spectacular event at Fort Worth YWCA
Maureen Smith recalls a colorful Fort Worth Scottish wedding at the YWCA with Highland guard, grand march, Saint Andrew cross formation, and a Boston trio band. She notes organizers Avril and Helen from Scotland, dancer Bill as a teacher, Paul Hemenway in McDonald tartan, and the active Austin Scottish Country Dance Society hosting December balls with classes at Murchison Junior High. Spectators welcome.
