Miss Zazle Kirkpatrick invites the People of Hays County to a dedication on Sunday May 16 at 2 30 p m for the new Health Education Building behind Hays Memorial Hospital in San Marcos The opening continues until 5 30 p m with an open house and reservations for group use after 3 00 p m by contacting the hospital switchboard

Hill Country Home Demonstration Club Meeting Notes

Dianne Weisiger reports the Home Demonstration Club met at Mrs Wayland Feaster's home with Emaline Burns as co hostess. Irma Arnold was named Sr citizen nominee and Carol Frakmann named delegate to the National Convention in Dallas in September. Inez Patton demonstrated yeast bread and coffee cake as the group shared tips and successes. Mrs Grady Meyer attended as guest. Next meeting hosted by Mrs Royce Baker with Mrs John Devenport as co-hostess.
