Riverside Cottages offers two sizes of cottages by the day week or month along the shaded riverfront. Air conditioned units include kitchenettes and TV. Guests can wade and swim the Blanco River, boat for fishing or pleasure, hike scenic bluffs and enjoy a large Rec Hall with pool and games. Horseback trail rides reach deer and wildlife views in the hills nearby.
Raymond and Madge Czichos recount the growth of 7 A Ranch near the Blanco River from 1946 onward. The family project expanded with cabins, a resort pool, and entertainment venues including the Medicine Show, Silver Spoon Cafe, Gay Ninety s Review, Opera House and multiple de luxe Pioneer House units through 1958.
