Marshall-Chapman Family Pioneers of Dripping Springs
1869 saw B J Marshall move to Dripping Springs paying 1.00 an acre for 1111 acres. The Marshall era built rock house and post office, with later stage line use and inn. Raiders, a Pack Saddle Mountain battle, and a Marshall-Chapman townsite growth followed. The home survives as Clara Wilsons residence.
