Lions Install Officers for 1976 77 Year in Wimberley
The Wimberley Lions held their installation banquet at Woodcreek Resort on June 15 1976. Lt Governor Marvin Nite installed officers including Chester Franklin as president and Lions Banks Hofmann and Roy Avey as holdover directors. Darrel Sutton was inducted as a new member and guest Lion Queen Amy Weisiger attended. Ed Shand handed the gavel to Franklin and Lt Governor Nite gave a stirring talk. The next Market Day is July 3 and the next meeting July 6 at 7 30 p.m. at the Dinner Bell.
