The Wimberley Home Demonstration Club held its January dinner meeting at the Dinner Bell with 14 members present including three new members. Highlights included reports on the Area Council Meeting and a youth show in San Marcos, plus a discussion on drug misuse in nurseries and a talk by County Agent Inez Patton on home furnishings. Lucile Turner was named delegate to the district meeting in Bandera on April 6, with Dr. W F Brown slated as February guest speaker for a slide lecture on Central America and Mexico.
