Twombly Story Opens Vermont to Connecticut Tree Care Venture
In 1967 Ken Twombly moved from Vermont to start a tree care business in Connecticut after marrying Priscilla a horticulturist. Their 25 acre nursery hosts thousands of shrubs trees and rare varieties with deer resistant plants and winter interest materials. Visitors can tour display gardens attend lectures meet landscape designers shop for garden pots gifts and supplies and pick up the 1996 1997 catalog free.
